DJ AA is currently the Music Consultant and DJ for The Chedi Muscat where they host exclusive events at the hotel’s 103-metre Long Pool, the lengthiest in the Middle East. Most recently he traveled to Singapore to DJ at Bacchanalia for F1 Weekend and to F1 Abu Dhabi to play on board a private yacht. In the past he has performed in several countries including America, UK, India, UAE and Oman. You can already see why we’re intrigued. However, its not only his extravagant locale or cross-continental experience that got us hooked.
An incredible mashup DJ, AA has released several bootlegs via Soundcloud, most notably Atlas Hands (AA ‘Touch The Sky’ Bootleg) that features the work of Thomas Jack, Benjamin Francis Leftwich & Kanye West, which managed to pull a #1 spot on Hype Machine after its release. Since then he’s managed to garner wild support and all has rattled off all sorts of creative mashups and mixes. For his guest mix for Get Lifted Tonight DJ AA flips in and out of dance, hip hop, chillout and house. Everything from Love Thy Brother to Mitch Murder to works of his own, our Volume 21 is keep summer alive with synth and sweat.
